8/1-3 DECIDE + ACT . Sun-Mercury are ready to confirm an agreement or solidify plans, so make decisions and accept responsibility. A very mature, structured energy that is supported until 8/3. This should ground the indecisiveness or overwhelm from the week prior when three planets simultaneously changed positions on three consecutive days, making us feel pulled in conflicting directions from 7/27-29 when the Lion’s Gate Portal period first opened. July 28th-August 12th is an extremely potent cosmic window for manifestation, so pay attention to what people and plans are powerfully drawing you right now— focus intention on them and they have an increased likelihood of coming to fruition during the portal period.
8/8 LIONSGATE PORTAL.
Activation + Manifestation! Every year between July 28th-August 12th the three stars of Orion’s Belt align with the Giza Pyramids of Egypt. The ancients understood this to be a period of increased otherworldly visitation and seeding of higher wisdom consciousness on to our planet, now popularly call the “Lion’s Gate Portal” because it occurs during Leo season. The most potent date of the portal period occurs at the Leo New Moon, this year on August 8th, when our Sun and star Sirius move closest to Earth and align with Orion's belt. Stay aware of serendipitous synchronicities and take a moment to ask the heavens: What are you calling in?
8/11-8/29 HEALTH IS WEALTH. Mercury enters Virgo making our expression more meticulous, practical, and detail-oriented over the next three weeks. Negatively used this can make us sound nit-picky, critical, or uptight. Mercury joins Mars and Venus’ trek through Virgo which has been making the world more health-conscious since late July when New York City, Facebook, Google, and Shake Shack set precedents for private entities requiring vaccination status of patrons and employees. It also coincides with eco-consciousness brought about the California wildfires, Mt. Etna’s unexpected eruption, and the IPCC’s warning about dangerous levels of methane in our atmosphere. Anticipate more stringent rules about the vax and masks, and more talk of climate change, in Aug-Sept as the planets course through Virgo.
8/15-9/9 IF YOU PLEASE. Venus enters Libra attracting us to beauty, romance, socializing, and peacemaking over the next four weeks. We may be inclined to raise a toast in our finest clothes while winking at an admirer from across the party. Fancy. We will want to smooth things over with other people.
8/18-19 FENCES ON FREEDOM.
Shifts with Mercury-Mars and Uranus in the next 48-hours stir restlessness, quickly changing situations, or a big push of effort. This sets things off, for better or worse! We may be mentally and verbally quick, saying what immediately comes to mind (perhaps without thought of repercussions). This makes for fast decision-making. Physically this can make us in a hurry; good for prompt responding, but careful for accidents linked to rushing. These race horses are raring to go!

The six month Uranus Retrograde from Aug 2021-Jan 2022 might herald a return to the ‘dark ages’ of masking, social distancing, travel restrictions, and vaccination debates. Talks of another lockdown, mandatory vaccination, civil unrest could, or a financial dip could explode around the holidays from Dec 18th -24th.
8/22 DOUBLE DIPPING. A repeating Aquarius Full Moon carries forward themes from July, especially people or projects prominent around July 23rd. Who or what was significant then? Similar scenarios may return now for completion. Excellent for fulfillments or endings, or completing progress from one month ago. Globally, this may peak scenarios that first exploded on to the world stage earlier in the week around 8/18-19.
8/29-11/5 Mercury enters Libra, where it will remain for over two months reviewing relationship themes through its fall season retrograde. Libra Mercury makes us communicate in ways that are agreeable, polite, balanced, focused on fairness, and integrating everyone’s perspective. Negatively used it can make us acquiesce (as in surrender our perspective) or passive aggressive.
