Arriving halfway between fall and winter, Halloween signals the beginning of the Death Of The Year. It's long recognized as a time when the invisible veil between worlds thins, allowing crossovers. Those whose lifelines are nearing completion might decline or die around this time (Fall Equinox in September to Winter Solstice in December, with Samhain in October being the intersection). And ‘visitors from the other side’- such as ancestors and spirit guides- have easier access to you.
