Recovery + Revelry!

Recovery + Revelry rule in June as the summer Mercury Retrograde review period officially ends and the Summer Solstice welcomes nourishment, celebration, and blossoming opportunities!

Did anyone else have a wild May?

There are three cosmic conditions under which things get crazy: Retrogrades, Eclipses/Full Moons, or Planetary Sign Changes— and the month of May had all three. Thankfully, June skies are smoother sailing.

Big news for June is the end of Mercury Retrograde- hooray! We spent three weeks reviewing truthful communication, contract details, logistics, money, and health from 5/10-6/3. Summer retrograde themes began emerging the Week Of April 25th and may take until Father’s Day to fully resolve.

Most importantly, the Summer Solstice turns the page of a life chapter in our annual storybook around the Sun. The shift from spring to summer shifts us from the new beginnings phase into the phase of growth, blossoming, and unfolding. What’s blooming for you?

Summer Solstice is the symbolic transition from action to nourishment.

Allow yourself to enjoy and indulge in what you’ve been building- you deserve it; the Summer Solstice brings tones of prosperity, extravagance, and good spirits- the notion of feasting upon the bounty you planted.

Environmentally, it is the longest day of the year. Summer Solstice is the peak point of the year where light lasts the longest, and also a reminder that shortly whereafter the light will begin fading into fall which is also symbolic of ebb-and-flow in lives: ‘nothing lasts forever’, so appreciate what you have while you have it.

June brings ‘aha moments’ around unexpected detours, an invitation to soften and flower, and a reminder to enjoy the present as the wheel of destiny is always changing.

Key questions for June:

  • What ‘aha moments’ have emerged from unexpected detours in May?

  • Where do I need to soften?

  • What’s blossoming in my life?

  • Who or what would I regret not enjoying while it’s present?

Read the daily planetary playbook below.

6/3 SUMMER RETROGRADE REVIEW ENDS

Summer review period is complete- hooray!

Mercury Retrograde spent three weeks reviewing truthful communication, contract details, logistics, money, and health from 5/10-6/3. Honest conversations yield better understandings. Better understandings yield good contracts or agreements. Planning, balancing, and juggling getting from here-to-there. Your personal relationship to money may need to adjust as US inflation skyrockets. Nature as primary care may be your best option as dangers of the vaccine are revealed.

Summer retrograde themes may have begun emerging during the Week Of April 25th and may take until Father’s Day to fully resolve.

American political alliances were especially challenged by this summer Mercury Retrograde, so unsurprisingly tensions with Russia, China, and other adversaries worsened. Our voice in NATO and other global alliances was pressed. Very possibly someone could declare ‘open enemies’ against the US from October 2022-March 2023 when a bi-annual Mars Retrograde will scrub the same spot in the US chart.

6/4-10/23 RELEASE BURDENS.

Saturn Retrograde spends five months restructuring responsibilities + commitments or financial + material resources. Saturn may help set firm foundations, or also let you know where things that used to feel like security now feel like slavery, obligation, entrapment, or limitation.

Put that bag of bricks down!

There might be a time commitment or relationship that just feels like it’s getting in your way, or perhaps a material asset like a house or job that’s simply costing more happiness than it’s worth.

The next five months may involve a lot of information deliberation in America, such as the US government debating what info its people are/aren’t permitted to view (such as its recent foiled attempt to establish a Disinformation Board) and First Amendment free speech talk.

6/11 WELL, THAT WAS EXCITING. Venus-Uranus bring surprises in love or money. Allow something exciting and unexpected to occur, or be the force that is exciting and unexpected in others’ lives. May produce volatility in the stock market.

6/13-7/4 A WAY WITH WORDS. Mercury enters Gemini for the next three weeks making us more expressive, flexible, and prone to multitasking. Negatively used it can lead to an overactive mind, diarrhea of the mouth, or hyperactivity. You may feel like talking about your story.

6/14 FULL MOON FUN.

Sagittarius Full Moon encourages summer travel, outdoor adventure, and taking time to learn something new. Don’t be so rushed in the everyday rat race that you can’t switch gears to enjoy some summer fun. It’s a good time to get an upcoming trip on the books. And don’t stay indoors right now- put on those sport shoes and explore Mother Nature as a reset. Also, reading, listening to a podcast, watching a documentary, or taking a fun class would expand your mind beyond its regular purview.

Consider this your ‘hall pass’ for summer fun.

Additionally, this Full Moon plays off themes which initially emerged around the Solar Eclipse during the First Week Of December 2021— what goals, people, or situations have accelerated since then?

6/15 WOUNDED WARRIOR. Mars-Chiron can make us prone to react to old wounds linked to self-advocacy, expression of anger, and competitiveness. We may be tested for our ability to stand up for ourselves and go after what we really want. In some cases, Mars-Chiron can indicate an injury.

6/21 SUMMER SOLSTICE.

Summer Solstice turns the page of a life chapter in our annual storybook around the Sun. The shift from spring to summer shifts us from the new beginnings phase into the phase of growth, blossoming, and unfolding of what got started for us earlier in the year. What’s blossoming for you?

Also, the Mercury Retrograde is fully resolving itself around this time so things may seem to serendipitously come together.

6/22-7/4 WHAT, WHO ME? Venus enters Gemini for a brief two-week period making us verbally express our feelings, prefer to stay busy and be entertained, and seek to have multiple options. Beware of ‘squirrel moments’ and ‘shiny objects’. Negatively used it can make us gossipy or superficial. We want life to be light and fun.

6/28 HOLD ME TIGHT. Cancer New Moon plants seeds of nurturance. What comfort and self-care will you seek coming up in July? Environmentally, the week of 6/28 could bring wet weather. Psychologically, the week of 6/28 could bring intense emotional releases or crying.

6/28-12/3 IN-SIGHT.

Neptune Retrograde spends six months illuminating where we’ve been deceiving ourselves and dissolving fears associated with that. Psychic awareness about what’s really happening in our spiritual growth comes slowly over time.
